Presentation

Young boy presented with chest pain and cough. No fever.

Patient Data

Age: 13 years
Gender: Male

Non-enhancing anterior mediastinal mass with cystic areas, measuring 9.3 x 6.3 cms, with an associated pericardial effusion.

Post chemotherapy

ct

Significant regression of the anterior mediastinal mass, now measuring 4.3 x 4 cm. The pericardial effusion has resolved.

After 1 week presented with HA

ct

There is vasogenic edema involving left basifrontal and bilateral high parietal regions. No clear evidence of ring enhancing lesion could be made out.

Case Discussion

Biopsy proven case of T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.

After documenting cerebral edema, MRI was suggested (patient lost to further follow-up)
