Mediastinal lymphoma - large B-cell

Diagnosis almost certain

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Large mediastinal mass.

Large mediastinal mass with significant external compression of the SVC. A moderately sized pericardial effusion is noted. Large bilateral pleural effusions are also visualized. A focal area of lung parenchymal consolidation is noted in the superior lingular segment left upper lobe of doubtful significance.

A large pericardiophrenic lymph node is visualized measuring 3 x 1.5 cm in size. No definite bony abnormalities are seen.
