Presentation

Chest pain and breathlessness.

x-ray

Large homogeneous opacity involving the left mid and lower zone and the pericardiac region with displacement of the mediastinum to the right side.

ct

Large heterogeneous mass with mixed density within (including soft tissue, fat and calcification).

Mediastinal shift to patient's right side.

Case Discussion

Features are consistent with a mediastinal teratoma, although the differential is wide.
