Microscopic hematuria workup.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Clusters of heavy calcifications around the corticomedullary junction of both kidneys are observed.

Case Discussion

Typical appearance of renal medullary nephrocalcinosis which is the commonest form of nephrocalcinosis and refers to the deposition of calcium salts in the medulla of the kidney.
