CT scan with and without contrast demonstrates a large ill-defined mass in the posterior fossa, slightly hyperdense, and not demonstrating significant enhancement on early post contrast images. Note the marked hydrocephalus.
This patient was transferred by air ambulance to a tertiary paediatric center. MRI confirmed the findings and a craniotomy was performed. This confirmed the diagnosis of a medulloblastoma.
