Right cerebellar hemisphere intra-axial mass showing heterogenous signal intensity on T2WI, restricted diffusion and heterogeneous enhancement on post-contrast T1WI.
Associated vasogenic edema.
Mass effect displaces pons anteriorly effacing the prepontine cistern and the cerebellar tonsils inferiorly through the foramen magnum.
Hydrocephalus.
Case Discussion
The tumor was resected and histologically confirmed to be medulloblastoma. In this location and in this age group it is most likely sonic hedgehog subtype.
