Presentation
Patient with a posterior fossa tumour that caused obstructive hydrocephalus. Actually with a ventricular catheter. MRI ordered to characterise the posterior fossa mass.

Occupying the 4th ventricle, there is a solid mass that seems to arise from the cerebellar vermis, with low signal on T1, high signal on T2 and FLAIR, and patchy contrast enhancement. It also presents with high signal on DWI.
Case Discussion
Medulloblastoma is the most common malignant tumour in childhood. Usually, it produces hydrocephalus, as in this case that the patient required the ventricular shunt due to the obstructive process.
Findings were consistent with a medulloblastoma (confirmed on histology).
