Patient Data

Well defined hyper-dense posterior fossa mass with small areas of hypodensities surrounded by minimal edema.

Well defined midline cerebellar enhancing mass, filling the fourth ventricle being low signal on T1WI and heterogenous mainly hyperintense on T2WI with corresponding restriction diffusion surrounded by minimal edema.
Case Discussion
Most common malignant tumor in childhood. Medulloblastoma accounts for nearly 10% of all childhood brain tumors.1
These tumors occur exclusively in the posterior fossa and have the potential for leptomeningeal spread.1
