Melanoma metastasis

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

H/O surgery for right foot malenoma - 2 mths. Today - FNA from right inguinal node. USG to rule out iliac nodes and liver mets.

Patient Data

Age: about 40 yrs
Gender: Male
ultrasound

LIVER  shows multiple well-defined rounded lesion involving all segements. Size range is 10 mm to 30 mm. Larger lesions shows target appearance. Smaller lesions are hypoechoic. Vascularity is noted in lesions. 

No para-aortic lymphadenopathy is seen.

Two ovoid hypoechoic nodes are noted in right extenal iliac region with loss of hilar fat.

39 x 15 mm ovoid lesion is noted in cranial part of RIGHT popliteal fossa - Metastatic lesion.
