Melorheostosis of the knee

Right knee pain.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Irregular striated areas of sclerosis affecting the medial femoral and tibial condyles and extending inferiorly along the medial aspect of the right tibial shaft. Note also made of a periosteal reaction along the medial aspect of the distal femoral shaft. Findings highly suggestive of melorheostosis.


There is sclerosis of the posteriomedial femoral condyle and medial tibial plateau associated with patient's diagnosis of melorheostosis
