A large membranous ventricular septal defect (VSD) is noted with dilated left heart chambers.
The aorta is arising from the left ventricle showing normal caliber (26 mm) arch orientation and arch branching. Normal origin of the coronary arteries is noted.
The pulmonary trunk is dilated measuring 40 mm in diameter with dilated right and left pulmonary arteries.
Reflux of contrast material to the inferior vena cava and hepatic veins is noted.
Bilateral pulmonary plethora is noted.
Normal drainage of SVC and IVC to the right atrium.
Normal drainage of pulmonary veins to the left atrium
The features are suggestive of the Eisenmenger complex in the setting of large ventricular septal defect.
