Well-defined broad-based extra-dural mass at the foramen magnum lateralized to the right, compressing and displacing the bulbomedullary junction to the left. It elicits an isosignal to the spinal cord on T1, high signal on T2 with vivid homogeneous enhancement on postcontrast sequences with a dural tail sign.
Case Discussion
MRI features of well-defined broad-based extra-axial mass at the foramen magnum, compressing the bulbomedullary junction most consistent with meningioma.
