Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
MRI

MRI brain.

A sizeable extra-axial mass is located on the planum sphenoidale and involves the pituitary fossa. A prominent dural tail is present anteriorly and laterally. In encases both ACA and ICA without significant stenosis. The mass also elevates the optic chiasm particularly on the left.

Typical features of a planum sphenoidale meningioma which was confirmed on resection.
