Well-defined broad-based extra-axial mass of the right temporal region measuring 35 x 33 x 30 mm. It elicits an isosignal to the cortical grey matter on all sequences with no calcification or hemorrhagic component on the GE sequence. The post-contrast sequences show a vivid homogeneous enhancement. A mass effect is noted on the adjacent temporal horn. A thin high T2 peripheral rim of CSF surrounding the mass indicates its extra-axial location.
Case Discussion
MRI features most consistent with meningioma of the right temporal region.
