Mid-portion of medial meniscus body has a ruffled appearance due to meniscal flounce.
Case Discussion
Meniscal flounce refers to the ruffled appearance of the inner margin of the knee meniscus, most often the medial meniscus. It is a rare finding on knee MRI that should not be confused with disease.
