There are multiple congential abnormalities including conjoined lower limbs, abnormal radial rays, mid-spinal hemivertebra and left sided diaphragmatic hernia.
Case Discussion
Newborn with features consistent with mermaid syndrome (sirenomelia), associated with radial ray syndrome, possible congenital diaphragmatic hernia and/or bowel obstruction, and features of advanced surfactant deficiency disease.
