Smudging of the fat planes within the abdomen forming mass-like lesion (misty mesentery) with associated sparing of the region surrounding the mesenteric vessels (fat ring sign).
Moreover there is fatty liver and calcified uterine myomas.
Case Discussion
Mesenteric panniculitis or sclerosing mesenteritis is non specific inflammation of the abdominal fat which can result in non specific abdominal pain.
