Irregular T2-hyperintense lesion in the right hippocampus with unilateral mesial temporal atrophy and enlargement of the temporal horn of the right lateral ventricle. Findings consistent with mesial temporal sclerosis.
Case Discussion
Typical appearances of mesial temporal sclerosis. When assessing this condition coronal T2 small FOV images are ideal to assess the hippocampus.
