New onset seizures

Age: 25 years
MRI

There is FLAIR hyperintensity in the region of the left hippocampus, which on the T2 coronal images is atrophic. The left temporal lobe is prominent as a result of this atrophy.

These findings are consistent with left mesial temporal sclerosis.
