Age: 17 years
Gender: Female
MRI

Reduced size of the right hippocampus with increased signal on T2 and FLAIR images.

Diffuse cerebellar atrophy, likely secondary to chronic epileptic drug use.

Case Discussion

In this case, there is the typical appearance of mesial temporal sclerosis in the form of the reduced size of the right hippocampus with increased signal on T2 and FLAIR images.

Also diffuse cerebellar atrophy, which is likely secondary to chronic epileptic drug use.
