Shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Frontal and lateral chest x-rays show opacification of the right pleural space. 


Non-contrast CT demonstrates a loculated pleural effusion with thickened nodular pleura. 

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a biopsy that confirmed the diagnosis of mesothelioma.
