Presentation

The patient complained of pain in the right hand for 4 days. The pain started after pushing a heavy object.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray shows spiral fracture at the body of right 4th metacarpal bone. No significant displacement is noted.

Case Discussion

Immobilization of the fracture in a splint in such a case is often sufficient.
