Radiographs revealed dorsal metacarpophalangeal joint dislocations of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th fingers. No fractures were noted.
Case Discussion
Metacarpophalangeal joint dislocations are relatively uncommon injuries. They usually are the result of forced hyperextension, which may occur from fall onto the outstretched hand or when forced against the handlebars of a motorcycle after a crash accident.
