Metastatic ascending colon adenocarcinoma in a patient with treated breast cancer

Know and operated case of right breast cancer. Work up for abdominal pain and chronic constipation.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

Post-operative changes are seen due to left mastectomy and axillary lymphadenectomy.

A 36 mm mass is present at the superior segment of the right lower lobe. In addition, several nodules less than 12 mm are scattered at both lung fields inferring metastases.

Case Discussion

Ascending colon mass, pathology-proven adenocarcinoma with small regional lymphadenopathy, lung and right adrenal metastases; in a patient with treated breast cancer.
