Abdominal pain.
Patient Data
Increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration is present at the cecal region, accompanied by pericecal fat stranding and several regional lymphadenopathies with SAD less than 11 mm.
Several ill defined low enhancing masses are seen in the liver, the largest one measuring 110×80 mm.
The right kidney is smaller than the left kidney and shows relatively parenchymal atrophic changes. Mild hydronephrosis is present on the right side.
A tiny stone less than 2 mm is present at the lower calyx of the left kidney.
The prostate gland is enlarged.
Case Discussion
Cecal mass; pathology proved adenocarcinoma, with regional lymphadenopathy and hepatic metastasis.
Colorectal cancers can be found anywhere from the cecum to the rectum. The cecum and ascending colon are involved in approximately 20% of cases.
