Presentation
Abdominal pain and chronic constipation.
Patient Data
Increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration is present at descending colon measuring about 15cm in length; accompanied by surrounding fat stranding and multiple regional lymphadenopathies with SAD less than 14 mm.
In addition, several small soft tissue density masses are noted at omentum and paracolic gutters inferring tumoral deposits. The largest one measured 30 mm in diameter.
An 11 mm small ill defined low enhancing mass is observed at segment VII of the liver.
The uterus is not seen due to prior resection.
A little amount free fluid is present at pelvis.
Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.
Scoliosis with right ward convexity is seen at thoracolumbar spine.
Case Discussion
Descending colon mass; pathology proven adenocarcinoma with regional lymphadenopathies, peritoneal tumoral deposits and small hepatic metastases.
