Metastatic gastric cancer

Presentation

Abdominal pain and dyspepsia.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
ct

Marked increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration is present at gastric cardia and lesser curvature, accompanied by multiple perigastric and paraaortic lymphadenopathies. Some of them show internal necrotic changes.

Some abdominal free fluid is also evident.

Several low enhancing masses are seen at the liver less than 35 mm.

Several nodules, mostly subpleural, are observed in both lungs. 

Several non-enhanced simple cortical cysts are seen in both kidneys. 

Case Discussion

Gastric mass; pathology proven adenocarcinoma, with perigastric and paraaortic lymphadenopathies, pulmonary and hepatic metastases.
