Abdominal pain and dyspepsia.
Patient Data
Multiple nodules are seen at both lung fields less than 20 mm.
Increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration is present at gastric body accompanied by multiple perigastric, peripancreatic and portahepatic lymphadenopathies.
Additionally, multiple varying sized low enhancing masses are seen at liver less than 100 mm.
The prostate gland is enlarged.
Case Discussion
Gastric mass; pathology proven adenocarcinoma; with abdominal lymphadenopathies,
hepatic & pulmonary metastases.
CT is currently the staging modality of choice because it can help identify the primary tumor, assess for the local spread, and detect nodal involvement and distant metastases.
