Metastatic gastric cancer

Presentation

Abdominal pain and dyspepsia.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
ct

Increased wall thickness due to tumoral infiltration is present at gastric cardia and proximal of lesser curvature. Several lymphadenopathies with maximum SAD of 12 mm are also observed in the vicinity of diseased segment and left paraaortic regions.

Several ill-defined low enhancing masses are seen at liver less than 25 mm. 
Several non-enhanced simple cortical cysts are seen at both kidneys, with maximum diameters of 22 mm.

Diffuse but mild urinary bladder wall thickening is present. 
The prostate gland is enlarged. 
Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the thoracolumbar spine. 

A few small subpleural nodules are present at both lungs less than 5 mm. Mild emphysematous changes and several scattered atelectatic bands are also observed bilaterally. 

A few small lymphadenopathies with maximum SAD of 12 mm are seen at lower para-aortic regions. 
 A 20 mm well-defined cyst with mean internal attenuation of 15 HU is noted at right cardiophrenic angle most consistent with pericardial cyst. 

Case Discussion

Pathology proven case of gastric adenocarcinoma with regional, paraaortic and lower mediastinal lymphadenopathies and hepatic metastasis.
