Metastatic mandibular lesion from abdominal neuroblastoma

Presentation

Known case of neuroblastoma presented with painful right sided mandibular swelling.There is a history of left sided nephrectomy 3-year ago.

Patient Data

Age: 6-year
Gender: Male

The whole body I 131- MIBG scan showed an intense round increased uptake of radiotracer in right lower mediastinum as well as abnormal moderate increased uptake of right hemiface.

There is a large hypervascular mass in the right mandible which is tender and hard on palpation. 

CT scan shows a large lytic expansile,destructive lesion in the right side of mandible associated with soft tissue component  and amorphus periosteal reaction and  wide zone of transition.There is also opacification of both maxillary antrums.
