Metastatic pancreatic cancer

Presentation
Abdominal pain.
Patient Data



Several small nodules are scattered at both lung fields less than 6 mm.
Filling defects are seen at bilateral pulmonary artery branches inferring thromboemboli.
A 70×40 mm low enhancing mass is noted at pancreatic tail that invades adjacent spleen. Multiple lymphadenopathies are seen in the vicinity of diseased segment.
Numerous low enhancing masses are evident at liver less than 55 mm. A few low enhancing masses are also observed at spleen less than 50 mm. A little amount free fluid is seen at perihepatic space and left paracolic gutter.
Several non-enhanced simple cortical cysts are seen at both kidneys.
The prostate gland is enlarged.
Degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the thoracolumbar spine.
Case Discussion
Pancreatic tail mass; pathology proven adenocarcinoma; with local invasion; regional lymphadenopathies; Liver, spleen and lung metastasis and mild ascites.
