Presentation

Chronic forefoot pain after trauma from two weeks ago.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
X-ray

Minimally displaced fractures of the third and fourth metatarsal necks are present. 

 Os calcaneus secundarius is seen as an accessory ossicle of the anterior calcaneal process.

Type II accessory navicular bone is noted.

Case Discussion

It is an important point to review the bony structures in the cases of foot trauma, especially with such a delayed presentation in order to the precise assessment of the metatarsals.
