Presentation

The patient accidentally twisted his foot in the bathroom, on examination: there is pain and swelling over the right foot dorsal side at the metatarsal bone area with maximum pain over the 3rd and 4th, no open injury or deformity.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

X-ray shows fracture at the base of the 3rd metatarsal bone of the right foot with no intra-articular extension.
