Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Ongoing mid foot pain over a week. No history of trauma. Runs 5 days a week.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Subtle periostal reaction seen in the tibial aspect of the second metatarsal neck, best appreciated on the frontal view. 

No other abnormality.
