Metatarsophalangeal dislocation

The AP and lateral radiographs show a metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint dislocation of the 5th digit with a small cortical avulsion-fracture of the medial aspect of the proximal phalangeal base (well-visualized mainly on the AP view). Note a periarticular soft tissue swelling at the same level (edema).
