This study has revealed a left temporoparietal wedge shape area of low attenuation, cortical, and subcortical distribution, with medial extension to the basal ganglia, and external capsule region, impressive of acute non-hemorrhagic infarction.
Associated mass effect is noted, in terms of indentation of the ipsilateral lateral ventricle, with effacement of cortical sulci.
