Direct trauma on the left hand.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

x-ray

 Displaced intra-articular spiral fracture through the left ring finger head to the mid-diaphysis is present.

Case Discussion

Middle phalanx fractures are the least common of the phalanx fractures. The important point in the recent case is that any suspected fracture must be checked in at least 2 views.
