There is a whirlpool sign of the mesentery, resulting in dilatation of the proximal duodenum.

SMV is located anterior to the SMA.

The rest of the small and large bowel loops are unremarkable.

Case Discussion

Current findings are more in favour of midgut volvulus.

The condition may be complicated with bowel malrotation.
