Presentation

Follow up known thyroid cancer.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Lung/soft tissue/MIP images.

Surgical clips in the thyroid bed.

Bilateral innumerable < 3 mm randomly distributed lung nodules.

Case Discussion

Miliary nodules are characteristic of hematogenous spread of tuberculosis and fungal infections to lung, but can also be seen in metastatic disease, especially thyroid cancer as in this case.
