Miliary tuberculosis

Middle eastern man with fever and chronic cough on background of known tuberculosis.

Patient Data

Age: 40-year
Gender: Male

CT scan shows innumerable bilateral, randomly distributed small pulmonary nodules which have a centrilobular predilection. In addition  there are a few peripheral branching opacities (tree-in-bud pattern) in the mentioned lobes.  The mediastinum is unremarkable.

Case Discussion

Findings are in keeping with miliary spread of Tuberculosis.
