There is a small linear filling defect, representing an intimal flap (intimal tear), at the inferior wall of the aortic isthmus.

Case Discussion

With a history of recent trauma, the imaging finding is consistent with minimal aortic injury. This finding can easily be missed without multiplanar reconstructions.
