Right internal jugular line along course of subclavian vein, with tip in axillary vein.
Bibasal and right midzone airspace opacification. Diaphragm tenting on right side. No pneumothorax.
Endotracheal and nasogastric tubes in satisfactory position.
Case Discussion
Internal jugular line is inserted at neck level, then courses down along internal jugular vein. But instead of entering the superior vena cava, the catheter has migrated rightwards along right subclavian vein.
