Long cecum with its pole reaching deep into the true pelvis within the pouch of Douglas and abutting the dorsal surface of the uterus.
Case Discussion
Mobile cecum is defined as a failure of cecum, terminal ileum, and right colon along with the mesentery to fuse to the posterior parietal peritoneal wall.
It is most commonly asymptomatic but does carry a risk of cecal volvulus.
