A tubular-tortuous anechoic subcutaneous structure is noted in the right breast at 10 o'clock with no evidence of Doppler flow within. No significant adjacent inflammatory changes detected.
Case Discussion
Mondor disease is a rare entity, benign in nature and self-limiting breast condition characterized by thrombophlebitis of the subcutaneous veins of the breast and anterior chest wall.
Mondor disease can also occur in the penis, groin, antecubital fossa, and posterior cervical region.
The natural course of Mondor disease is 3 weeks to 6 months.
