MRI demonstrates a complex fluid collection measuring about 30*45*140 mm containing fat involving the medial thigh.
There is extensive overlying subcutaneous soft tissue edema.
Case Discussion
The findings are consistent with post-traumatic degloving/shearing injury (Morel-Lavallée lesion).
