Presentation
Fall on ground. Direct trauma to lateral aspect of proximal thigh - 9 days back. Complaining of a local swelling.

There is anechoic lesion in subcutaneous plane of proximal thigh on lateral aspect.
Part of the lesion overlies greater trochanter of femur.
Lesion is compressible.
There is very thin capsule ( < 1 mm ) around part of the lesion.
There are few avascular septa in lesion.
Size :
Cranio-caudal - 9 cm
Transverse - 7 mm
Thickness - 2 cm.
Perilesional fat is echogenic.
Case Discussion
Findings suggest Morel-Lavallée lesion.
