A 4cm defect is present in the anteromedial aspect of right hemidiaphragm that some omental fat and a part of the transverse colon has herniated through into the right hemithorax.
A few small nodules, less than 4mm are scattered at both lungs which seems to be fibrotic nodules.
Case Discussion
Features are consistent with Morgagni hernia containing transverse colon.
Morgagni hernias most often contain omental fat, but transverse colon (60%) or stomach (12%) may be included within the hernia.
