Mounier-Kuhn syndrome

There is marked dilatation of the trachea reaching up to 5 cm in diameter with posterior diverticula in its upper part. There's also dilatation of the central and basal bronchi bilaterally more evident on the left side. The left lower lobe shows mucus plugging of the dilated bronchi and multiple centrilobular ground glass nodules.
Case Discussion
Marked tracheobronchomegaly with tracheal diverticula is suggestive of Mounier-Kuhn syndrome. This condition is most frequently seen in middle-aged men and usually presents with chronic productive cough.
