Twisted T1 hyperintense hair (arrow) in large ringlets
Case Discussion
Hair is not usually seen on MRI but in this case it is twisted into tight ringlets (dreads) with T1 hyperintensity consistent with grease. Patient states hair hasn't been washed for years!
