Sparse foci of calcifications located at the right upper quadrant. This is the characteristic appearance of mucinous adenocarcinoma liver metastases on plain film (colonic mucinous adenocarcinoma, in this case).

Differential diagnosis for sparse liver calcifications seen on plain film includes:
- calcified giant cavernous hemangioma
- granulomatosis (histoplasmosis, tuberculosis, brucellosis etc)
- pseudomyxoma peritonei
